Christian, I quite understand the 'heritage' of mailing systems - I've been around since before they were - you have no idea howmethods of coummincation wre in the last 1950s when I first got involved with what we now call IT. I would most definitely prefer to use email rather than a mailing list; indeed my current preference is Thunderbird - it used to be Claws but I found that a bit too technical. Any system which is client based will do; I prefer them to web-mail. However, I thought I had been admonished, by email, not to use email?
