Hello Folks, I just wanted to share a quick update on what's been happening in the project lately. I'm not sure if anyone is monitoring the issues and pull requests (PR), but there has been a lot activity over the past few weeks. Most of the PRs where merged within less then one week. Usually, we have a rule to keep a PR open for at least one week to cool done. In my experience, this greatly improves their overall quality. However, I shorten this period for some of the PRs because they where blocking others, and I tried to avoid merge conflicts. The ongoing larger task, is improving the man page. But before refining the text, I focused on simplifying and making the command line interface (CLI) more consistent. I reduced the number of commands from 17 to 10. I also adjusted some argument/flags. Renamed or removed commands and flags are still there for backwards compatibility. They are hidden in --help output but will trigger a deprecation warning when used. The plan is to fully remove them in two or three years, after the release of Debian 14. That's all for now. Regards, Christian Buhtz
