[Bit-dev] Re: Release Candidate for Back In Time 1.5.3

Two issues where discovered in RC 1 and fixed. They where related to packaging issues in context of GNU/Linux distributions. Still missing are some user tests. I did not received any message of someone using/testing the RC, no matter that in this version each user is greeted by a message window explaining the RC and requesting feedback. I still wonder if it make sense to create an RC before every release. What do you think?
