Vagrantfiles for Debian 12 and BiT dev
Hi all, I'm attaching my newly tested Vagrantfiles for Debian 12 with the backintime dev branch installed (an some minimal configuration in place, so BiT doesn't ask to set up a profile at start), and with buthz' qt6 branch for testing. We don't have an online place to collect these yet, right? Enjoy :) Michael
Hi Michael, Oh, I've influenced another person to write and manage Vagrant files. That's nice. :) I can add this to my online repo of Vagrant machines, or I think a repository called "backintime-dev-toolchain" can be created to handle these files. Cheers, Hakan On 9.01.2024 22:40, Michael Büker wrote:

Yes, you did, I never knew about vagrant before you presented it :)

Very good! Kindly share a link when they're up. Cheers, Michael
Hi, I’m glad that you like Vagrant. On the other hand, SourceHut is under DDoS for 3-4 days now [0] and my code repositories are unavailable. I’ll let the list know when things return to normal, and I update my repositories. Cheers, H. [0]: https://outage.sr.ht

The thing is, Codeberg was hosting the status page for SourceHut, and they were hit, too. Somebody wanted to take down SourceHut (and maybe Codeberg) for good, but it didn’t work out. They’re almost completely recovered now. I’ll waiting this to be over completely before updating anything. It’ll be a couple of days more. I’ll be adding a “contrib” folder to my repository and store incoming files there. Cheers, H.

Interesting. There was also a DDoS attack on Codeberg.org. Someone don't like independent code hoster? ;) _______________________________________________ Bit-dev mailing list -- bit-dev@python.org To unsubscribe send an email to bit-dev-leave@python.org https://mail.python.org/mailman3/lists/bit-dev.python.org/ Member address: hakan@bayindir.org
Dear All, As SourceHut recovers from its DDoS and moves closer to some of us in Europe, the repos are up again. I have pushed Michael's Vagrant machines to the repository, under "contrib" folder, at https://git.sr.ht/~bayindirh/vagrant-machines. Except the IP addresses and file-naming, I didn't touch anything in them. Please report if there's anything wrong with them, incl. the documentation. Also, this the first time I somehow received patches or PRs for one of my repositories in my life, so that's a first and happy moment for me. :) Cheers, Hakan On 14.01.2024 21:28, Hakan Bayındır wrote:

Dear Hakan, congratulations on your first contribution, and thanks for taking care of these Vagrantfiles :) Cheers Michael On 17.01.2024 09:15, Hakan Bayındır wrote:
