Thanks for the response, it is a problem of the Ubuntu package for Python-dev package after compiling python it works properly

Does your C++ application link to the right version of the Python .so file (ldd yourapp) ?

I'm trying to import sqlite3 in a program embedded in an c++ ecap module. Everithing goes well when running from python, but when running from C++ I get this exception:
