Yes. I have tried pyint-gui in python2.7 on widows 7. But it has the same problem.

See my answer to Ian on this topic. The best way to move on this is probably to
create an issue on bitbucket and ideally to submit a pull request there.

Have you tried pylint-gui using another version of Python?
