Hello good people at PyCQA, there is an issue that essentially breaks the docformatter for a lot of people (since early October). The issue has been fixed in main, but whoever did it forgot to tag it as a release, which essentially still makes it unusable with the latest version of pre-commit. See: https://github.com/PyCQA/docformatter/issues/293 If you could have someone have a quick look at the issue and take the suggested actions, I think you would make quite a few people happy.
