snip dynamic_cast confusion

I was right. It was due to my limited understanding of dynamic_cast. The cast from PyObject* to ObjectProtocol* must be static, since PyObject* has no virtual functions, but further downcasts from ObjectProtocol* can be dynamic, as Skaller suggested. I was changing both casts at the same time. Thanks for the help.
