Is there a tentative release schedule for Cython 3.0? I looked around a bit
(searching mailing list, GitHub milestone date) and couldn't find one (just
the docs page listing 2019-??-??, which could be meaningful or just a
meaningless placeholder), apologies if I missed it somewhere.
For context, over in SciPy we are trying to implement some changes using a
feature from 3.0, or implement changes using an older, less nice method. To
decide which route to take, it would help to have some handle on when 3.0
might be released. For example if a 2019 release is the goal, then we'd
probably wait to make the changes. If summer 2020 is a more realistic date,
then we'd probably move forward now with the less nice method.
