devpi logo drafts, comments welcome!
hi all, please find attached a logo draft from Gero, based on previous drafts from Jad which were posted and commented on here (positively IIRC) as well. from the attached logo variants florian, oliver and me kind of like (1), florian also (9) and oliver and me also somewhat (8) and (7) ... we could also additionaly use (5) if we need black&white. As an icon we can use just the special "d" e.g. for github and favicon/web. what do you think? Any one you prefer over others or ones where you are critical? Or do you rather think we ask for a new round of drafts? If so please say what you think would be good to try modify. best and looking forward to eventually have an official devpi logo! holger
I personally like (2) as it puts the “pi” of devpi in perspective. (2) also share the color palette of the pytest and tox logos, linking devpi to that family of great tools. I think that the special “d” (6 or 7) are great where minimalistic logo is needed (again same color scheme as the large logo). My 2 cents. Sorry for adding more confusion to the final choice.
