I was told this:
> `python setup.py develop` uses urllib2 to download distributions whereas pip uses requests

This can create confusing situations and I want to avoid this.
Is there a way to use only **one** way to install python packages?
Do wheels help here?
Or is there a way to use npm for python packages?

This is probably the wrong mailinglist - does anybody here know who a maintainer needs to contact to change their details if they don't have access to the mailing address they registered a package on pypi with ?
This is for the package 'fabulous', which can't be updated for this reason.https://github.com/jart/fabulous/issues/7
So far I've tried mailing webmaster(a)upython.org + got an automated message.
