AFAICT, you removed Version.suggest_normalized_version(), which breaks pip if we re-vendor to this version. No, it's just been renamed to _suggest_normalized_version. Public access is now via the version scheme.
OK, so it's now private. Is pip OK to use it (just add the underscore and move on)? I guess so, as I don't really feel like rewriting those bits of code use the new API. I keep getting sidetracked by stuff like this. Paul
