Ah, great ! on PyPI side, we will be able to mark releases as being beta thanks to PEP 386. Maybe the simple index could differentiate them somehow.
Perhaps hide them, just like older releases are hidden unless you call e.g. XML-RPC method release_packages with show_all set to True. Cheers
