What version are you using? The version on my PC works just fine,
even if I add a space to the Scripts directory name:

easy_install-
2.4.py (--help nor --version don't give additional version information).
C:\Documents and Settings\pje-2>"c:\python23\scrip ts\easy_install"
error: No urls, filenames, or requirements specified (see --help)
Your python is still c:\python23, not "c:\python 23".

Thanks! This is quite well hidden information, you should advertise yourself a bit more. Also, people usually expect find to a real bug tracker, not just a discussion list as notable open source project as setuptools is.
