The point is that the "FA" in "FAQ" stand for *frequently asked*.
One can debate how frequent is necessary to be placed in this category, but a question that has only been asked once can hardly be called "frequent" by any measure.
However the point of using established terminology is that everyone (or some worthwhile subset thereof) immediately knows what to expect. Michael
(Yes, this is pedantic -- lists of answers to questions are always useful regardless of frequency. But calling them all FAQs is technically a misnomer.)
