python setup.py bdist_rpm fails on RHEL5 x86_64
Hello everyone: I'm attempting to use the bdist_rpm flag to build a plain vanilla, Python 2.7 RPM for RHEL 5 x86_64, but the build command fails. Since you all are the distutils experts I figured you might have seen this before. I also submitted a bug to bugs.python.org: http://bugs.python.org/issue17553? Anyone have some pointers on how to make this build work? thanks Sean
My apologies if this comes through twice; I think I sent the first copy before I was approved to send to this list! ********************************************** Hello everyone: I'm attempting to use the bdist_rpm flag to build a plain vanilla, Python 2.7 RPM for RHEL 5 x86_64, but the build command fails.
