Installation instructions for setuptools, eg. here[1], mention setuptools 0.8 as a download from pypi. However, pypi doesn't seem to carry version 0.8, only up to 0.7.4[2]. Are the installation instructions still work-in-progress, and is 0.7.4 the recommended version ATM? Thanks for the clarification, peter. This is the source repository for setuptools. What you are seeing is the version in development, which is 0.8. It's not released yet. The pypi page contains the updated readme, and points to the official documentation: http://pythonhosted.org/setuptools/ //Lennart
