weird setuptools error...
bin\buildout.exe Getting distribution for 'zc.recipe.egg'. Got zc.recipe.egg 1.1.0b1. Installing eggs. Getting distribution for 'BeautifulSoup'. zip_safe flag not set; analyzing archive contents... eggs\setuptools-0.6c8-py2.5.egg\setuptools\command\bdist_egg.
This is while using buildout, but the weirdness is definitely setuptools... The buildout.cfg: [buildout] parts = eggs setuptools-version = == 0.6c8 zc.buildout-version = == 1.0.6 [eggs] recipe = zc.recipe.egg eggs = BeautifulSoup The output: py:422: UnicodeWarning: Unicode equal comparison failed to convert both argument s to Unicode - interpreting them as being unequal symbols = dict.fromkeys(iter_symbols(code)) Installing BeautifulSoup 3.0.7a Caused installation of a distribution: beautifulsoup 3.0.7a with a different project name. Got beautifulsoup 3.0.7a. What's that unicode warning all about? Chris -- Simplistix - Content Management, Zope & Python Consulting - http://www.simplistix.co.uk
