Testers wanted: about a dozen setuptools bugs closed in trunk
I've checked in numerous fixes to bugs from the tracker today, with the intention to cut a c9 release on Monday. Please update with "easy_install setuptools==dev", and try it out. Thanks!

Could you weigh in on my latest response/plea for: http://bugs.python.org/setuptools/issue27 It's a big deal for Jython and I'd like to get it resolved for this release -- Philip Jenvey

Yep: provide a (tested) patch that doesn't silently do the wrong thing when command-line options are used.
