Docassemble is packaged using Docker, so it can be deployed on any hosting environment that supports Docker containers. Note that by default, Docassemble stores user data on the container itself. Some app servers that host Docker containers will immediately terminate running Docker containers when the host machines perform software updates, or under similar circumstances. If user data is stored on the container itself, immediate container termination may corrupt the databases. To avoid this, you can configure docassemble to use external managed databases, or you can try to configure the host service so that it does not immediately terminate the Docker container. If you are only interested in using the docassemble API, and not the front end, docassemble may not be the most appropriate application.
