The main issue is that the wording seems to suggest the example above it is the best and not the very last. Hi, I think that people who work with Windows deserve to be noticed. I am going through tutorials, and so far, it seems to be impossible to follow them up on a Windows operating system. I work with computers since 1967 (perforated tape input), worked such things as Monte Carlo simulation of hot electron behaviour and co-wrote a paper on Mars landing, but did not have an opportunity to learn what Unix Shell is. This means, for example, that a slightly different set of % codes is supported on windows vs linux. So, from Python's point of view this is at *most* a doc bug. Hello, how do I get remove python from Linux Ubuntu 10.04? .. it was installed ./config , then make install .. make unistall dos not work -- please help , if you can ... it would be good to have something in the doc about how to uninstall python . Thank you, rk
