Search page not showing progress

Hi there, When I do a search on the docs site, e.g: http://docs.python.org/search.html?q=dict The results take very long to return, at which point the page just looks empty, i.e. there is no progress indicator or anything. i.e. the *<div id="search-results">...</div>* section is not shown until some data has started to be returned. The progress indicator should show up before any data has started to return. The results aren't worth waiting for though, perhaps provide the google site search function as the main search function rather? Good work to all involved! Cheers, David

Quotation Mark Syntax Error?

I just downloaded python onto my mac and it's trying to tell me that the second quotation mark after I tell it to print something is a syntax error. For example: print "I am sending an email" And that second quote will be called a syntax error. But also, if you don't put the quote it doesn't work either. What's up with that?

An indent of 4 spaces is used with help(math.modf). tutorial: "The Module Search Path" section is ambiguous

"The Module Search Path"[1] section of the tutorial starts with the following text: When a module named spam is imported, the interpreter searches for a file named spam.py in the current directory, and then in the list of directories specified by the environment variable PYTHONPATH. It mentions the "current directory" in the first paragraph, although it's not necessarily about the current working directory just as the second paragraph clarifies things. I think that the text should be rephrased to make it less ambiguous. Maybe mention right from the beginning what's really going on?
