I found the right ones by cross-checking with the links for 2.7, which are working, but thought you should know. Hi, on the page https://docs.python.org/3/download.html all the links are currently dead, for e.g. https://docs.python.org/3/archives/python-3.6.4-docs-html.tar.bz2 results in a "404 Not Found". Probably I am just too impatient and I should wait some hours or days, but maybe it's a real error. Regards Jens

The typing documentation for 3.6.4rc1 states: > typing.io ... defines the generic type IO[AnyStr] and aliases TextIO and BinaryIO for respectively IO[str] and IO[bytes]. In the current implementation TextIO and BinaryIO are not aliases, but instead derived from IO. venv module doc missing command line option

The documentation for venv on both 3.6.4rc1 and 3.7 is missing a command line option: When I run my python 3.6.3 with: $ python -m venv -h There is the long-dash option: --prompt PROMPT Provides an alternative prompt prefix for this environment. There is no mention in the above python doc pages about this in the 28.3.1 section, however there is a brief mention of it in the 28.3.2 API section. Thanks, Craig MacEachern -- C.D.
