In section 9.2, a scope is described as “a textual region of a Python program”. In a subsequent paragraph it states “Usually, the local scope references the local names of the (textually) current function.”

 

The word “textually” is repeated 3 more times in the paragraphs that follow.

 

After rereading  the section and looking up the words “textual” and “textually”, I believe what the author means say “context” and “contextually”.
