I am a Second Year CS-Engineering student, and I wanted to start my journey into open source contribution, and I think starting off with helping in documentation would be a great idea. And python is a programming language that I use daily for multiple reasons, so I would be very interested in making a small contribution to improving it. It would really be helpful if someone guided me through making any required documentation changes, or atleast give me guidance on how to be ready to work, if I am not experienced enough. Welcome Kaushik, There is link to resources on how to begin contributing to Python documentation in the devguide: https://devguide.python.org/#contributing In the table there, you will see the column for "Documentarians" which will be relevant. Other than that, once you have picked an issue to work on, you can begin contributing and creating PRs, you don't need to be "assigned" to the issue. Hey Kaushik, I can help you set everything up so you can be ready to contribute to the Python documentation, and I can help you on how to find things to improve. If you wish you can contact me off-list as we might need a bunch of back- and-forth emails. Regards, Simon On Thu, Jul 7, 2022, at 3:44 PM, Kaushik Iyer via docs wrote:
