Hi, I noticed the "What's New in Python 3.8" doc lists a new shlex.join() method, but it seems there are no relevant docs for it under the shlex module's doc. https://docs.python.org/3/library/shlex.html#shlex.join Excited to try out 3.8! Thanks for all the hard work. Best, Avy *Avy Faingezicht* www.faingezicht.com

Hi! Thanks for reporting! It took a bit of time for the cache to invalidate the old doc under /3/ and you were presented a mix of pages from 2.7 and 3 during a few hours. This looks now resolved and there *is* a documentation about shlex.join in the shlex documentation for 3.8 :) Sorry for the inconvenience, Bests, -- Julien Palard https://mdk.fr
