FTP.retrlines(/command/[, /callback/]) Retrieve a file or directory listing in ASCII transfer mode. /command/ should be an appropriate RETR command (see retrbinary() <#ftplib.FTP.retrbinary>) or a command such as LIST, NLST or MLSD (usually just the string 'LIST'). The /callback/ function is called for each line, with the trailing CRLF stripped. The default /callback/ prints the line to sys.stdout. Should read: The /callback/ function is called for each line, /with a single string argument giving the line/, with the trailing CRLF stripped. -- Bob Gailer 919-636-4239 Chapel Hill NC

Hi Bob, thanks for the suggestion, I've made that change now and it will be online soon (not in the 2.6 docs though, but the 2.7 ones at docs.python.org). regards, Georg -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.16 (GNU/Linux) iEYEARECAAYFAkxSeOgACgkQN9GcIYhpnLDhhACdHpalTrUJenVOC9+0PRdx8y7D 7dIAoIjzAfcxgs7gzUSAkdWNyv5nQF3s =PPhH -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
