Hello Fernando, Indeed, epubcheck utility [1] reports 28 lines of errors in the EPUB for 3.9.6. First error listed:

Error while parsing file: The entity "ndash" was referenced, but not declared.

Please note that some of the errors potentially may be the issues of Sphinx itself. Also while trying to fix the issues one can be interested in the Sphinx FAQ for EPUB format [2].
