I'm glad hearing from you,  kirby.
By accident I met pythonanywhere [ http://pythonanywhere.com/ ]
 allowing python + flask,
and decided to give it a try [ http://sergior.pythonanywhere.com/ ]
using the code from chapter 6 of my book
(which we commented a while ago)
Prealgebra via python [ https://www.researchgate.net/publication/325473565 ].
The code for the book is at
and the code corresponding to the one on pythonanywhere is from chapter 6
[ https://github.com/rojassergio/Prealgebra-via-Python-Programming/tree/master/Chapter_06 ]
My internet isn't as good as used to be, but I'll do my best
to keep the talk ongoing.
Salut,

Sergio

Subject: Re: [Edu-sig] Python (one variable) Equation Solver
Greetings from Portland, Oregon, Sergio!

I gave your invention a whirl with a random 2nd degree equation:

Always glad to see sympy getting a workout.  Flask front end.
Great skills combo!  Cross disciplinary.

Do you share source code somewhere i.e. is this open source?

I use:

to share about "API" and other concepts with Python students,
and have links to the code on Github.  A conventional setup.
I pay very little.
