Hi people of python! I'm the GNOME GSoC admin and the founder of coala, a small little project around code analysis, making it easier and reduce redundancy. We would love to be a sub org. Our wiki page has already been cleared by the grand Meflin so I guess the important part is the links. If there are any further questions I'll be happy to answer them. GSOC 2016 - Develop a new DIPY website

Hi All, I'm Dileepa Chandima, final year undergraduate student of Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. .I went through all the project ideas and all of them are interesting. So I decided to work on Develop a new DIPY website with more interactive features for GSOC 2016 because of the experience gained by doing various projects in my internship program And .I have knowledge about java, python, RESTful API, HTML, bootstrap, and also CSS. And also I strongly believe that this would be more beneficial to my future career development as well And also I went through the following areas to get more familiar with the DIPY Web site. So that it would help to adapt to the project to be done. - Subscribed the 'GSOC general Community' dev mailing list and also 'NIPY Community' dev mailing list. - Cloned the DIPY git repository (https://github.com/nipy/dipy.git). - Executed a small website using 'Django'. - Started to going through the Django and Sphinx Documentations. Please be kind enough to provide more details about the project and I really appreciate your cooperation on this matter. Hi, I am Shashank Gandham, a second year undergraduate student majoring in Computer Science from India. I am interested in Vector Math Library Integration for Python which is one of the proposed projects for GSOC 2016 ( https://github.com/scipy/scipy/wiki/GSoC-2016-project-ideas#numpy-project-i… ). Honestly I am not much experienced in either Python or C, I learned both the languages in Introduction to Programming in my college which I took in my 2nd semester. I am really interested in contributing to the open source project and as I have 3 months vacation in the summer, I find it apt to utilize my time doing something constructive. You may have your doubts about my abilities, hence I am writing this email, If it is possible and convenient you can test me before the applications start, and on the basis of my performance, you can make your decision. I can assure you, I can provide about 6-8 hrs a day, 7 days a week in summer. In the mean time, I would also like to know, how can I contribute to python now?
