Presentation about HPy in few days
by PIERRE AUGIER

Hi, Because of our [note in Nature Astro] on Python computing/CO2 and what I did on [Transonic], I have the opportunity to give a seminar (15/03/2023) organized by the french "Calcul group" (
https://calcul.math.cnrs.fr/pages/presentation_groupe.html
). I choose to talk about HPy (
https://calcul.math.cnrs.fr/2023-03-python-acc-hpy.html
), because I think it is useful to advertise this project. I guess there will be mostly Python developers so I don't want to try to go too deep in the technical aspects (nearly no C code in particular). My slides are not at all ready but I started to work on the presentation to better see what I could show. I share here a first version (
http://legi.grenoble-inp.fr/people/Pierre.Augier/docs/2023/pres_hpy/pres-hp…
). This is a Libreoffice presentation so it's even better with the original file
https://heptapod.host/meige/website-pa/-/raw/branch/default/content/docs/20…
I'd like to add a bit of code and maybe a very simple benchmark but the content is mostly there. I would of course take into account any remarks from people involved in HPy. Best regards, Pierre [note in Nature Astro]:
