A couple of ideas, from easy to harder:
I assume we can remove members who spam.
Is there a way to set new subscribers to read-only, and only move them to read-write if they have quality info to post?
The list has few enough posts that we could set it to "moderated" in order to require approval for posts and add a few people to the admin list to ease the burden. I would be willing to admin if help is needed.
