My amazing team at Thinkerbell Labs <https://www.projectmudra.com/> has
been working hard to put Braille within the reach of 39,000,000 visually
impaired people across the world. This started as a Raspberry Pi + Python
project that was displayed at PyCon Montreal in 2014. We have come a long
way ever since.
This year our flagship product Annie, a handy Braille tutor, has been
selected as a finalist by ASME iShow - one of the world's biggest hardware
innovation showcases. The next round is a social voting round and your vote
will help us stand a chance to win, and go a long way in encouraging
everyone who's been working hard to solve this extremely challenging
Please try to spare a minute for your vote.
