The organisers of PyCon India 2012 are looking for talk and tutorial proposals to fill the formal presentation and tutorial tracks. When you are submitting a proposal, you automatically give the Indian Python Software Society, the organizers of PyCon India, the permissions to record/edit and release the audio/video of your presentation.No exceptions will be made in this regard. If you do not want a recording of your presentation to be made, don't submit a proposal. The released media will be licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License, version 3.0. Hi, I've made a draft of sponsorship brochure. http://in.pycon.org/2012/static/sponsor_kit_draft.pdf SILVER: Rs 75,000 - 6 available Logo + Write-up + link on conf. website Logo on official banners Banner and table at the venue GOLD: Rs 1,50,000 (USD 3,000) - 3 available In addition to the benefits of silver: Stall at the venue (instead of table) Distribute goodies at the stall ContactPoint kit for participant contact details PLATINUM: Rs 2,50,000 (USD 5,000) - 1 available In addition to the benefits of Gold: Name on the Lanyard Logo on participant badges Logo on Swag Bag I've suggested couple of changes from previous year. Included option of distributing goodies like t-shirts, cds etc. for gold and platinum sponsors. Banner and physical space is provided for all the participants. After all, the sponsors are part of the community and they should be given a chance to interact with the community. However, silver sponsors can't distribute goodies at the venue. Thinking using the ContactPoint kits from HasGeek to share contact details. It lets the participants to tap their card if they want to share their contact details with any sponsor. Ticket cancellation/refund policies.

What are the plans for ticket cancellations and how much do we refund? I'm inclined to make atleast the early bird tickets non-refundable since we have just a fixed number and people booking them only to cancel later will simply waste them. What's the plan? Hi, We need to create an A4 sized poster to stick at various colleges in Bangalore and elsewhere.
