Re-initiating Kolkata Python User Group

Hi everyone, I created a Google group for the Kolkata python user group two years back. But the number of python developers/enthusiasts were really low at that time so it never got any traction. Recently, thanks to PyCon and Python month, a lot of people have been talking about and showing interest in Python here. So I've created a new mailman mailing list and re-initiating the Kolkata Python User Group(or KolPy as we're calling it). I'd welcome everyone who is interested, to join the mailing list and help us grow a healthy developer community here. Offline Payment disabled

Hello Everyone, Offline payment has been disabled due to some of the issues we were facing 1. People were making offline payment when the workshop tickets were already been sold out. And doattend doesn't allow to cancel the only workshop ticket instead the whole order has to be canceled. 2. Off the 100% registered orders through offline payment, only 10-20% people turned up for payment, and the rest of the orders had to be canceled. Thanks -- Cordially Abdul Rauf (haseeb)

Hi! While chatting up with Anand & Vijay at The Fifth Elephant, we were discussing about the photography for PyCon. I was clicking around last year at PyConIndia and have been doing so at various other events. I have added a few albums here: http://bitly.com/bundles/imba/1 I am definitely going to be hopping around with a camera this time around as well. Though, I have a very basic entry-level DSLR. So, I was wondering if I can get help from here to rent equipment from tapprs (http://tapprs.com). That will let me capture the event with possibly better flexibility, as better equipment will remove a few technical constraints. About Registration kits and Internet

Student discount for workshops

Hi, We've given STUDENT discount for 45 seats in workshops (9 workshops * 5 seats) and that ran out yesterday. I'm in favor of increasing the limit. Please let me know if you have any objections.
