hi, we have discussed with the registar in Ooty and he assures us that this registration can be done 'under rupees 1000'. Now you all know why I do not practice law! anyway, I will draft the MOA and bye-laws and submit them to you in a couple of days (no cost). I will handle the registration - all legitimate expenses will be billed to the society (should be a few hundred rupees plus lawyers fees of 1000 - I am not the lawyer). The illegitimate expenses, we have to bear - if anyone feels like chipping in, fine - otherwise I will pay for it. We need 8 people from 8 states. Tamilnadu is no problem - I have proof of residence. So who is from Kn, Kerala (Noufal?), Maharashatra, Andhra? That is 4. NCR could produce people from Delhi, Haryana and UP. 7. G0sub from tripura -surely we have someone resident in Bengal? Or get ajay from jarkhand? We need this list in a day or two. -- regards Kenneth Gonsalves Senior Project Officer NRC-FOSS http://nrcfosshelpline.in/web/

Great! What is the proof of residence docs required? Please specify. I think we will easily get 4 states apart from the four southern states. Will ask Fred whether he can be party to the crime from Goa... We have the fossee gang from Mumbai. This should not be a problem. I've proof of residence in Karnataka... -- Ramdas S +91 9342 583 065

work of drafting has started - so far I am building the essential skeleton, after which the lawyer can vet it for statutory necessities. Please feel free to edit spelling/formatting elements in the draft, but PLEASE DO NOT ADD OR DELETE ANYTHING UNTIL I SAY SO. Once the skeleton is ready, I will let you know so that you can start adding/editing. Till then keep discussion on this list. Of course, those who are willing to subscribe (from 8 states) may add their details in the appropriate place. There is no limit to this number, more than one person from a state can subscribe. Please note that this is a public document and all details you enter will be available to the public for all time. -- regards Kenneth Gonsalves Senior Project Officer NRC-FOSS http://nrcfosshelpline.in/web/

KG,
need 8 people from 8 states.
What kind of document is permissible as a proof of residence? If you let me know now, I will ask my parents to mail it to me in advance. Regards, BG -- Baishampayan Ghose b.ghose at gmail.com
