[PyDelhiConf] List of projects participating in PyDelhiconf Development Sprints.
Hello Folks, We are delightful to announce that Development Sprints will be organised during PyDelhi Conference 2017.The sprints are going to be held on 19th March, 2017. Development Sprints are way of intensive learning and development on an open source project of your choice, in a team environment. Not only do the projects that participate benefit from fresh eyes and ideas, but the sprinters usually find that they gain enormous insights into a particular problem or library, and even into coding in general. Projects Participating in Development Sprints: 1. Junction - A software to manage proposals, reviews, schedule, feedback during conference. Prerequisites and Setup- https://github.com/pythonindia/junction Mentors- Anand B Pillai 2. TextBrew - It is a text processing library. It helps to preprocess the text before you feed into a Deep Learner. It is usually the part people least understand and more than often ignore. This library provides a long list of functionalities w.r.t preprocessing. Prerequisites - Python, Regular Expressions, Understanding of English's Grammar. Setup - Install Gensim and Spacy for further details - <https://github.com/rishy/textbrew> https://github.com/datawarp/textbrew Mentors - Rishabh Shukla , Mukul Malik 3. SymPy - It is a Python library for symbolic mathematics. Prerequisites- Basics of Python and Jupyter notebook, Mathematical knowledge of calculus. Setup - Install Anaconda Python. Once Anaconda is installed simply type the following in a terminal to install the necessary packages: $ conda install numpy ipython-notebook sympy Other alternative installation instructions can be found here: http://docs.sympy.org/dev/install.html Mentors- Amit Kumar 4. EvalAI- It is an open source web application that helps researchers, students and data-scientists to create, collaborate and participate in various AI challenges organized round the globe.
