Re: [Inpycon] Feedback for 2014 website design
Hi guys, I have made another attempt on the artwork. Demo: http://fully-faltoo.com/pycon-india-2014/ Source: https://github.com/pratyushmittal/pycon-india-2014 [You might need to do Ctrl + F5 to clear cache and reload artwork]. Have tested only on chrome and desktop.

I really like the color scheme, but I sincerely hope that the picture of the levitating Fakir is just a placeholder. I think it's very stereotypical and inapproproate. -- JD
I like the color scheme in the top and the font used for PyCon India. Going with "import antigravity" is a good idea but not with the fakir, I guess. One more thing - if your learning about parallax effect is done, that could be removed. On Fri, Oct 25, 2013 at 2:37 AM, Pratyush Mittal <pratyushmittal@gmail.com>wrote:

Hi Pratyush, The creative doesn’t show up well on 1080p, as it’s width is inadequate. Hence, it will not show up properly on Retina displays too which are even higher resolution than 1080p. So, >1080p get excluded in this design . -- Mitesh Ashar Sent with Airmail On 25 October 2013 at 9:15:58 am, Devi (asldevi@gmail.com) wrote: I like the color scheme in the top and the font used for PyCon India. I'm not a designer so I can't offer an intelligent opinion. It would be a good idea if any professional designers on the list could offer comments on the "design" itself (typography, layout, placements, information architecture etc.) rather than the technical details like whether the site is responsive or not. I liked the color scheme. Instead of fakir/sadhu can you think about using python symbol in some way . On Fri, Oct 25, 2013 at 2:37 AM, Pratyush Mittal <pratyushmittal@gmail.com>wrote:
