Hi Daniel,
A keen observation. Note that the energy range for which the steps are
calculated goes up to E = t. The parabolic dispersion is not accurate
anymore at the high energies. The second step however is at an energy
roughly four times the first step. The way to resolve this problem is
of course to choose a finer discretization step.

Hello!
I now learn to use kwant and I can't get one thing. In the first example from the tutorial we can see steps of conductance.
But the energies, at which the jumps occur do not have n^2 dependence as should be for the levels of perpendicular quantization in the quantum box with zero boundary conditions. I took a longer stripe, but it didn't help. Why it is so?
