Yes, you can study a non-conventional lattice in kwant too.
Please check the answer by Anton [1] on this topic and my comments on a similar program shared  by a kwant-user (the study of transport in DNA.)

I have done a code that gives me the coordinates for a discretized surface, for example a real nanotube.

So, how can I use these coordinates to make my Kwant system?


In the manuals there are just examples for "cubic" 3d system but what I hope is to analyze 2D structures embedded in the R3.
