This mailing list is often used to ask questions about Kwant. Naturally, such questions will be often answered by developers of Kwant, but I would like to emphasize that this list is meant as a forum of exchange of ideas for all users of Kwant.

There are many experienced Kwant users by now – please do feel encouraged to participate in discussions and answer questions. (In the same spirit, when asking questions, please avoid addressing them directly to the developers.)

But this list is not meant to be only about questions and answers. Do not hesitate to write if you have ideas or suggestions about Kwant, or if you have used it in an interesting way that others might be interested in knowing about.

When replying to a message, be sure to reply to the original poster *and* CC the mailing list. If you have opted for receiving digests (=one message per day), you can reply to individual messages using the Gmane web interface [1] or disable digests through the administrative interface [2].
