On an unrelated note, I would like to make an announcement that is long overdue. Thanks to support from William Stein, the author of Sage cloud software, Kwant is now available on cloud.sagemath.com, a free and open source cloud computing service. This means that if you want to try Kwant out and cannot install it, or if you want to share your code with your colleagues (or even edit it collaboratively in real time), you can just register at cloud.sagemath.org.
