Dear kwant researches, I came across the algorithm described in https://scipost.org/SciPostPhys.4.5.026, and I think I would benefit a lot from it. I am wondering whether it is implemented in the new kwant 1.4 library, or is there an implementation publicly available somewhere? Thanks, Oleksii

Hi Oleksii,
I came across the algorithm described in https://scipost.org/SciPostPhys.4.5.026, and I think I would benefit a lot from it. I am wondering whether it is implemented in the new kwant 1.4 library, or is there an implementation publicly available somewhere?
The bound state algorithm is not currently implemented in Kwant. I took a crack at implementing it a couple of months ago, but integrating it properly into Kwant requires rewriting some of the low-level linear algebra parts so that the evanescent modes can be extracted properly. This is unfortunately not an easy task. The implementation used in the paper used its own modes calculation (which isn't as stable as Kwant's) and so managed to side step this issue. As far as I am aware the authors did not publish their implementation with the paper. Happy Kwanting, Joe
