Hi all,
since iterparse() seems to work pretty well, I just added the iterwalk() equivalent for trees and merged the branch into the trunk.
Both will therefore become official features of lxml 1.1. I'm planning to release an alpha version next week, so that people can start using the new functions. It will also include threading support and axis iteration.

Additionally, there will be a 1.0.2 soon that fixes the remaining bugs in the 1.0 series. AFAIA (anyone for installing trac?), there was only one open bug report by Petr left that I couldn't reproduce, so unless that actually proves to be a reproducible problem, I won't be able to fix it.
