Just a break from administrivia to note that voting is open for the next PyWeek Python Game Programming Challenge (http://www.pyweek.org/) and the challenge itself starts Sunday. I'm planning to enter, though with my work schedule it might be a bit on the rudimentary side. But hey, an experience to talk about at the next meeting!

So we are aiming to have a meeting the last Saturday of this month, the 26th. The idea of structuring the meeting around lightning talks seems to have legs, so let's try that. At ChiPy they seem to aim for 4 lightning talks per monthly meeting - let's see if we can line up 3 for this one!
You only have to spend 10 minutes talking about something you're working on, some technology you've been using, or anything Python-related that interests you.
Anyone?

There's a meeting tonight at Olbrich gardens... a sort of public hearing I
think, held by the city.
Madison is trying to lobby Google to install fiber to the home in Madison.

I'm planning to go. Needless to say, it would be outstanding should Madison
get the nod.
