Initial Comment: People can not unsubscribe online. They get an email msg saying that a sneaky attemp to subscribe them agian took place. This was on Debian stable mailman ver 2.1.5-8. I upgraded to testing mailman ver 2.1.6 but I still have the same problem. ----------------------------------------------------------------------

Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1123998 This is not a patch. If anything it should be in the bug tracker, BUT Are you sure you don't have a locally modified version of the unsub.txt template? I don't think the message you describe is anywhere in standard Mailman. If this is not caused by your own modified template, then it is a problem with the Debian package and should be reported to Debian, not here. Are you sure this comes from an unsub attempt. There is an email that begins: """An attempt was made to subscribe your address to the mailing list %(listaddr)s. You are already subscribed to this mailing list.""" This is sent when a user who is already a list member attempts to subscribe again. Perhaps you have modified the listinfo.html template and not properly arranged the <MM-*-form-start> tags so the unsubscribe button actually submits the subscribe form. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=300103&aid=1427594&group_id=103
