Category: Pipermail Group: Mailman 2.1 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: David Woodhouse (dwmw2) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: In-Reply-To: in mailto: links incorrect. Initial Comment: Mails in the archive have a mailto: link with which you can reply to the email you're viewing. That mailto: URL contains an &In-Reply-To= part, to set the In-Reply-To: header in the generated mail and thus enable correct threading of replies. Unfortunately, we give the wrong ID. We give the In-Reply-To: header of the message to which the user would be replying, but we should be using Message-Id: of the message in question, instead. See also https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=123768 (although the example given there no longer shows the problem because I've fixed the bug and recreated the archives since then) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: A.M. Kuchling (akuchling) Date: 2008-06-06 14:25 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=11375 Originator: NO Thanks for your bug report! This problem was fixed, using a slightly different patch, in rev.984 of the 2.1 tree; the first released version with the fix is Mailman 2.1.10. This bug can now be closed. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=300103&aid=1580310&group_id=103
