As I said, There is a fix in the branch at https://code.launchpad.net/~msapiro/mailman/topics. The actual implementation is rev. 1007 on that branch. Unfortunately, this is just one of a few enhancements made on or against the Mailman 2.2 branch which is not going to be officially released.
