I'd be far more worried about finding out how and why. You have
serious data corruption on your hands. Hunt that down first.
config.db files are streamed python objects. If you can't load them
under python (which you should be able to) then something is Badly
Wrong. About your only recourse at that point is trying to run
strings against them.

If you upgraded Mailman, ensure that the upgrade process also
upgraded the config.db's to the new format. There's a command in
~/bin to do that.

Yeah, I've been there (while tracking a nasty kernel bug that kept
whacking my filesystem). Not I have cron jobs that email me the
results of ~/bin/dump_config.

It seems all the config.db's (and their .last's) for all my lists are now
corrupt. At least check_db says so. Since there doesn't seem to be
anyway to fix this, perhaps there is a way to extract the email
addresses/passwords for the lists so I can recover?
I'm more than willing/able to write a perl script to parse it out, if I
just knew the file format (though i can prolly get the email addresses out
without much difficulty).
Anyone have any thoughts/suggestions?
Thanks.

Hi,
just a quick question: which version of mimelib is necessary
to use latest (this morning) CVS of MM ? I'm currently using
0.4.
TIA,
