All right. But. I've installed python2 with Debian, and mailman does not know how to use it (Debian installs python2 as /usr/bin/python2, and /usr/bin/env python points to the python1x version.)
So either point 'python' to 'python2', or change all scripts to point to the right python executable.
But this must be a debian issue ;)
